Three Online African Fashion Brands that we are loving

We've always been a fan of African Fashion brands which are online, one of our favorites activities is to browse the sites to see what is new! We've compiled a short list of fashion brands that we are loving which are also made in Africa.

1. Tongoro

Established in 2016 by Sarah Diouf, Tongoro is a 100% Made in Africa brand that is based in Senegal. Print is Tongoro's signature with stunning visual campaigns and a client list that includes Beyonce! 

2. Mangishi Doll

Mangishi Doll is a vibrant "Afro-Electic" brand from Zambia which is inspired by unique style and bold prints. Mangishi features beautiful African print maxi dresses, kimonos and skirts, all made from Chitenge (also known as kitenge or ankara).

3. Libaya

Derived from Lingala, which is mainly spoken in DR CONGO, Libaya means a “traditionally tailored women’s top”, which is the essence of the brand – reminiscent of the founder’s cultural background. Libaya specializes in style forward African made ready-to-wear items for the global style conscious woman.
